Can you pack my branded materials that are already printed elsewhere?
Yes. We often onboard brands who already have branded packaging with another printer. You ship the assets to our warehouse, we log them into inventory, build the pack recipe, start pack-out. No requirement that we print the materials. (If you want us to handle printing too, that’s Custom Packaging.)
What’s the minimum order volume to justify branded pack service?
Operationally, anything above 200 orders/month starts to make sense. Below that, the storage overhead of holding your assets eats into margin. For brands under 200/mo, a simpler “sticker-only” option may be better — we can quote that separately.
How is this different from Amazon FBA Prep?
Amazon FBA Prep is preparing units to enter Amazon’s warehouse. Brand Packaging Service is packing individual customer orders for DTC fulfillment. Different workflows, different warehouses. Many clients use both for different order sources.
Do you support split shipments (one order with multiple boxes)?
Yes. Our WMS handles multi-parcel, gift-wrap-to-different-address, subscription-box variations, and seasonal bundles. Custom pack recipes can be saved and auto-triggered by order tag.
Can you integrate with my existing 3PL and only handle the branded portion?
Not ideal — split fulfillment creates tracking fragmentation and customer confusion. We recommend migrating full order volume for consistent brand experience. If your existing 3PL is contractually locked, we can run pilot lanes for new product launches only.
What happens if you run out of my branded materials mid-month?
The auto-alert triggers at the reorder point you set (typically 30-day runway). Our team confirms, quotes, and orders replenishment from your printer. If you choose, we can hold buffer stock and reprint direct — fastest path. Full stockouts are rare (~0.9%) but if it happens, we ship generic for 1–3 days while materials arrive, and email your customers a 15% rebate code.
Who owns the branded materials while they’re in your warehouse?
You do, always. Assets appear in your contract inventory register, are insured at replacement cost, and can be returned or transferred to another fulfillment provider with 30 days notice. No lock-in on asset ownership.
